FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO {ILAROPOLY} RELEASES ND ADMISSION LIST FOR 2032/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2021/2022 Post-UTME of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates

The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded online via JAMB CAPS Candidates are to follow the procedure below to check

See the procedure to check your admission status below:

1. Visit: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard

2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status,

3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’

4. Click on 'Admission Status' to see if you have been offered admission.

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to click"ACCEPT" or "REJECT" to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.

Note: if you're yet to see anything, keep checking, as we can confirm many 'Admission in progress'.

NB : Clicking"REJECT" is an indication that the offer of admission has been rejected by candidates

STRIKE : MOUAU-ASUU REJECTS FG’s NEW SALARY STRUCTURE FOR LECTURERS

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in Abia has described the Federal Government’s Consolidated Academic Salary Structure (CONUASS) as “unilateral”, hence unacceptable. The group’s position is contained in a statement jointly issued by the Chairman and Secretary of the union, Michael Ugwuene and Paul Nwiyi, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Umuahia on Saturday. The statement is entitled, “Failure of Government: Collective bargaining agreement is the way forward.” It stated that CONUASS awarded increases of 35 per cent and 25 per cent of current salaries to Professors at bar, and other ranks, respectively. OBASEKI CAN'T BAN UNION ACTIVITIES IN AAU –ASUU

The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, on Wednesday, said the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, had no constitutional right to proscribe union activities in the state-owned institution, Ambrose Alli University. The ASUU president, who disclosed this when he led other national delegates of the union in solidarity protest to the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, over their unpaid salaries and other sundry issues, said ASUU is a registered body that had the right to operate in the country. He said: “The governor did not establish the union, therefore, he doesn’t have the right or the power to ban the union. He doesn’t have that right.
